A Word from the CEO
The Sanz Medical Center- Laniado Hospital in Netanya, Israel, was foundehammermand by the Sanz-Klausenberger Rebbe, Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Halberstam, of blessed memory. Being a holocaust survivor, his response to racist hatred was to build a medical institute in the Jewish homeland that would alleviate suffering and serve all segments of Israeli society.
The Sanz Medical Center- Laniado Hospital has a staff comprised of Jews, Moslems, Christians and Druze - a mosaic of cultural diversity and tolerance to foster healing in a spirit of equality and compassion.
For over thirty years we have been providing top medical care to the residents of Netanya and the environs, including the many tourists visiting in the area.  Our strive towards excellence in all medical fields and our concern for the health and welfare of people, not only in Israel, but worldwide, is the foundation for our Research and Development Department.
I am proud of the vast research that is being done in the various departments at the Sanz Medical Center- Laniado Hospital. These results are shared with the medical community through publications in prestigious international medical journals and presented in papers on a wide range of relevant medical issues at international medical conferences.
The “Admor” (the late Klausenberger Rebbe) expressed his vision for creating a hospital in his founding statement:  “To strive as far as possible to ease the pain and suffering of the patients, and to improve their emotional and spiritual state.”
I want to thank the professional, devoted staff in the Sanz Medical Center- Laniado Hospital, together with the Research and Development Department, for endeavoring daily to fulfill this vision to the utmost.
